About
I am REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_NAME. I live in China and work directly with radar manufacturers — mmWave modules and finished sensors for perimeter security, presence detection, traffic and parking.
I started RadarSelector because the information an integrator needs does not exist in one place. Chip vendors write excellent notes about their own silicon. Distributors publish catalogues. Nobody publishes the comparison that decides a project: which module holds up on a wet fence line in February, which one loses range at 45 °C, and which “manufacturer” is a trading company with a website.
What I actually do
- Source radar modules and finished units from Chinese manufacturers for overseas integrators.
- Read datasheets against test reports and tell clients where the two disagree.
- Check certification files — FCC, CE, and the band approvals that decide whether a product can legally be installed at all.
How this site makes money
Openly: sourcing. If you ask me to find, qualify or ship radar hardware, I earn a margin on that transaction. That is the whole business model.
There are no sponsored rankings on this site, no paid placement in any comparison, and no affiliate links in the guides. Where a product I source appears in a comparison, it is named as a product — not recommended because it is mine to sell.
What I will tell you
If radar is the wrong technology for your problem, I will say so. Ultrasonic, active infrared, LiDAR and plain video analytics each win in specific conditions, and a radar salesman who tells you otherwise is selling, not advising.
Get in touch
Best route is the enquiry form on any page, or connect on LinkedIn — that is where I post the shorter technical notes.
Tell me what you are trying to detect
Application, range, environment, and the market you need to certify for. That is enough for a useful first answer.
